Starting with November this year all the semitrailers are equipped with new air-springs 1940-K and 1881-K. Air-springs 1881-K fixed on dumpers «Tonar-9523» and «Tonar-95231» have higher load capacity if compared with those having been used before. The advantage of these springs is the lack of arms, the simplicity of assembling and disassembling and fixing the axle units on frames of the semitrailers. | |

Presentation of a new semitrailer |

Presentation of new semitrailer «Tonar-97461» with Ï-type sliding tilt was held on November, 30-th at the trading center «Tonar». The tilt, roof and sideboards are fully sliding what complies with the TIR regulations. Such a construction enables to produce tilt-covered semitrailers with the tilt length of 16.5 m. The trailers are now being equipped with the composite tilt: 13.5 m is the sliding part, roof and sideboards are coming separately, the rest of the space is plain tilt. this construction will probably replace the plain tilt totaly. For the purpose of new design the modern equipment of german firm «TSE» is used. sideboards are demountable. as the part of the presentation was a special interview with the leading designers of semitrailers who provided the relevant information on the innovation in semitrailer construction. The technical director Yurij Vainshtein was the main figure to answer the clients' questions. | |

It required skilled staff to use up-to-the-moment technology to bring the idea of manufacturing a new sample of semitrailer with sliding floors to life. The construction of sliding floors enables to maintain handling operations not referring to the loader inside the body. It facilitates handle work when transporting and unloading some granular load. In this case there is no body turn over. It appears to be more secure, though regarding its increased volume, if compared to standard dumpers.
